Definition

One outbound delivery can be split into several outbound deliveries during the subsequent delivery split.

You can control the composition of the outbound deliveries involved in the split by using the result number. If you assign the same result number to the delivery items of an outbound delivery, these items will all appear in the same outbound delivery after the split.

Delivery items with different result numbers will be divided among several outbound deliveries after the split.

Result numbers are always valid for only one outbound delivery. The same result numbers can be assigned to different outbound deliveries. Because the same result numbers are assigned, the outbound deliveries are not combined.
