Definition
Indicates whether the system copies the item numbers from the source document into the target document.
Use
If you want to add to the document by copying only part of the item data from another document, the system does not copy the item numbers. If the system does not copy the item numbers from the source document, it assigns new item numbers in the destination document so that there are no gaps in the numbering. In this case, the Higher-level item and Alternative item fields are renumbered in the sales order entry screens so that the original reference to other items is maintained.
