Documentation
Definition
Specifies that read accesses to the directory are performed with the anonymous user.
Use
If you set this indicators, and an application accesses the directory in a way in which it declares when requesting the directory connection that it only wants to read, logon data that is entered or stored in the system user is ignored. Instead, logon is performed using an empty user name. This is regarded as anonymous access by many directories.
The application "Search for User Data in SAP Office" is an example of this type of application.
Dependencies
Since setting this indicator leads to system behavior that is difficult to trace, you should only set it, if you have succesfully tested all of the functions that you use in the context of communicating with this directory.
