Definition

Specifies that this attribute is exported when a new entry is created in the directory, regardless of the synchronization indicator setting.

Use

If this indicator is set, this attribute is always written in the directory when a new entry is created.

If an existing entry in the directory is to be changed, this indicator is not evaluated. In this case, the export synchronization indicator alone decides whether the attribute is overwritten with the value from the database.

If the indicator is set and the export synchronization indicator is not set, the value of the attribute in the directory can be changed without being overwritten from the database during later synchronization runs.
