Definition
In the elimination rule, the fiscal year is treated as an "effective from" year; the period, however, must be addressed definitively.
Special considerations for mid-year (during-the-year) consolidation:
- The rules for intercompany elimination are accessed from the table of "Valid Periods" using the period indicator. If "mid-year" consolidation is processed differently than "year-end" consolidation, the period indicators of the mid-year entries will deviate from the period indicator of the year-end.
- You must define an elimination rule for each period indicator used.
