You can use this field and the corresponding button 'BUTTON_LAYOUT' when setting up the IS-Media Internet application copmonents to allow the user to switch from one layout to another.
For example, you might design a simple logon form with only a few fields and allow the customer to switch to a layout containing additional fields.
From a technical point of view, the counter increases by 1 when the user chooses the button. Initially, the counter setting is 1 for each screen. To enable the user to display additional fields, you define different fields on the HTML template for the different counter settings. When the counter is at 1, the button should be displayed, for example with the text 'Further Logon Fields'. You then display the other fields for other counter settings.
