Documentation
Definition
This flag is part of the client control functions when importing language packages you have created yourself (transaction SMLT_EX).
There are two options:
- Import into the current client (default)
or - Import into all clients
This imports the language data in the package into all clients in the system simultaneously. It respects any client protection settings (transaction SCC4).
SAP language packages have their own client settings, which cannot be controlled with this parameter. All language data is imported into client 000, from which it is then cascaded into higher clients, according to the table classification in the ABAP Dictionary.
SAP Note 2857 describes how the table class affects the transport settings, including language transports.
