Definition

Indicator to show that materials are assigned directly in the layout type in question.

In direct assignment, the allocation of materials to layout areas is explicitly specified.
In indirect assignment (indicator is not set), the materials of a layout area result from the layout module that is assigned to the layout area. Materials are added to layout modules in material maintenance.
