Definition

This indicator specifies the type of availability check to be used for checking the availability of each component. This is relevant here if the availability check at component level has been set in in the requirements class.

The possible options are:

• availability check according to ATP logic

  The ATP check is carried out for every single component. The ATP check of the individual components is defined by the following criteria:

• the checking group in the material master record of the component
• the checking group at plant level (planned order) or the checking rule in the order type (production order)
• check against planned independent requirements

  The system checks the planned independent requirements for each individual component. The check against planned independent requirements of the individual components is defined as follows:

• by the checking group defined for the component in the material master record.
