Use

To define different exchange rates you must specify exchange rate types.

Example

You can use the exchange rate type to define a bank buying and selling rate and an average rate for the translation of foreign currency amounts. You can use the average rate for foreign currency translation, and the buying and selling rates for the valuation of foreign currency amounts.
