Definition
A planning layout is a user-defined planning screen.
The planning layout determines the following:
- Header
The header determines what range of objects the layout can be used for.
- Lead column(s)
Lead columns contain the characteristics for which you can plan single values. They determine the content of the rows of the layout.
- Value columns
The value columns are where you enter your planning data.
Planning layouts are either generated from parameter set maintenance or defined in Customizing.
