Definition
Subobjects are objects assigned to higher-level objects. For example, production orders can be assigned to product cost collectors.
Subobjects are not displayed in the worklist. If the subobjects were processed with errors, the list of object messages does not include messages for the subobjects themselves but only messages for the higher-level objects. In these messages, the subobjects are shown in the Subobjects column
Example:
One hundred production orders were assigned to a product cost collector. Ten of the production orders were processed with errors. In the object messages, you receive ten messages for the product cost collector. In each of these messages, the production orders are listed in the Subobjects column.
