Definition
In certain cases, when a business partner is created, a customer with the same number is generated in addition in the background (see the Ref. customer field in the "Create Contract Partner" transaction). However, if in such a case a customer with this number already exists, one of the following occurs, depending on how you set this indicator:
- The customer is adjusted.
- The creation process is canceled.
- The customer retains its original status.
