Definition
Here, you define in the determination procedure whether the attributable amounts are to be calculated based on gross exposure or net exposure. The gross/net exposure refers here to both primary and secondary exposure.
Gross exposure means a volume-oriented attributable amount for primary business partners and guarantors (providers of collateral) without taking into account the risk-reducing and risk-transferring effect of the provision of collateral.
Net exposure means a volume-oriented attributable amount for primary business partners and guarantors (providers of collateral) taking into account the risk-reducing and risk-transferring effect of the provision of collateral.
