Definition
Evaluation types in Risk Managment control the assignment of financial instruments to their appropriate market prices (for example, exchange rate types, yield curves, security prices) and calculation methods.
You need to make some default settings for evaluation types. These are used by the respective price calculators, unless exceptions are defined.
The evaluation type also controls the online datafeed connection.
In the Default Risk and Limit System, this evaluation type is used for all evaluations. It is used especially when determining collateral provision.
