Definition
Indicator that controls the settlement of price differences in the cost object hierarchy according to the old procedure or the new procedure.
- With the old procedure, the price differences of the production orders or product cost collectors are settled to a price difference account specified by material account determination. The actual costs on the higher-level cost objects are settled to a price difference account that the user must enter in the settlement rule for the cost object.
- With the new procedure, all production orders or product cost collectors and all cost objects that are not the highest node are automatically given a settlement rule that prescribes settlement to the highest node when settlement is carried out. The settlement receiver is the highest cost object in the hierarchy. The price differences and actual costs settled to the highest node are settled to a price difference account specified by material account determination.
