Use
You use the Sales order cost estimate indicator particularly in complex make-to-order production because valuation using a sales order cost estimate is particularly appropriate there.
Dependencies
If you select this indicator, other cost estimates, such as the preliminary cost estimate for the manufacturing order or the standard cost estimate for the material, are not included in results analysis.
The order quantity and the planned revenue are taken from the sales order.
