Definition
The sick pay supplement period describes the period in which the employer pays the employee a sick pay supplement.
The sick pay supplement period starts at the beginning of the sickness. During the continued pay period, the employer does not pay a sick pay supplement.
Use
The R/3 system automatically proposes the sick pay supplement period. You can change the default value.
Dependencies
The sick pay supplement period is defined in Customizing for Personnel Administration under Contractural and Corporate Agreements -> Contract Elements -> Determine Default Contract Elements.

This value indicates the employer's period of notice. It is set in customizing in table T5D71 and is valid as long as it is not overridden by "deviating periods of notice" in infotype 0016.
