Definition
If this field is flagged, the system carries out a decimal place correction on amounts. The decimal place correction is carried out automatically for amount fields that are loaded from a file. You must flag the field if data is loaded from systems other than SAP R/3 or SAP R/2. If data is loaded from SAP Systems, it is assumed that the currency settings regarding decimal places match.
In SAP Systems, currencies are stored with two decimal places. Exceptions are defined for currencies with more or less decimal places. 1000 Italian Lire are stored in the database as 10.00 Lire.
