Use
For bookings, cancellations and rebookings
(Transactions PP12, PP13 and PP19):
Meaning of field: Start date of business event
The field is both an input and an output field depending
on how the user enters the desired business event:
- by entering the business event type ID, the business event
language and the desired begin date
-> begin date is an input field
- by directly entering a business event ID
-> if the business event ID is valid the start date
which goes with it is displayed by the
system
-> begin date is an output field
For prebookings (Transaction PP15):
Field meaning: Start of prebooking period
Start of period in which the attendee wants to attend
business events of the desired type. This period becomes
the validity period of the existing prebooking and the
attendee is prebooked on the business event type "in this
period". If the user makes no explicit entries the current date
is set as the start date of the prebooking period.
