Definition
Combination of output that is allowed if output is to be processed at the item level of a document (for example output for an order item).
The output determination procedure is determined according to item category and item type. However, the entry made for item category controls the default value for the item type.
Examples
If the combination of output to be sent by you only depends on the item type, you only need to enter the output determination procedure in the sales document type settings. If you want to make a more detailed distinction for a certain item categories, you should enter an output determination procedure for each of those item categories in the item category settings.
