This indicator controls administration of the issues for the publication.

If this indicator is selected in the publication, issue management takes place externally. Issues are then always copied from the external system into IS-M, i.e. creation, changing and deletion of issues is copied from the external system. (This means that the issue management functions available in IS-M, such as generation, numbering and issue editing, are not available for the issues of this publication.)

If the indicator is not selected, issue management takes place in IS-M.
