Documentation
Definition
Office (e.g. a branch office) responsible for sales and distribution of certain products and services.
You must specify the receiving sales office on the initial screen of the sales document in Media Sales and Distribution.
Use
You can use a sales office as a selection criterion when creating statistics of sales and distribution. If you print out order confirmations, you can also print the address of the sales office.
Note
Within a sales office, you can create sales groups (e.g. departments) with certain responsibilities for sales. Each employee of the sales office can be assigned to a sales group in the corresponding master record. Each customer can be assigned to a certain sales group in the customer master record.
