Documentation
The JIBE/PASC Number identify the receiver of the transmission.
The JIBE number contains the COPAS (Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies) identification code (JIBE Owner Number) for the receiver (non-operator) of an invoice. This is used in the United States.
The PASC number contains the Company Code (once a company has established an account with the Central Clearinghouse they become a member of the PASC JIB User Group) for the receiver (non-operator) of an invoice. This is used in Canada.
