Definition
Net working interest or exposure represents the total billing liability of the partner in the venture/equity group. The value is calculated using existing values in master data as follows:
1. For partner with interest type WI (blank) net working interest is
calculated as follows:
If the partner (P) is not carrying any carried partner on the V/EG
Net working interest/exposure = Partner's working interest shares
(WI).
If the partner (P) is carrying a carried partner (CIP1...CIPn) on
the V/EG
Net working interest/exposure = WI + (CIP1 WI * P carrying
interest for CIP1) + ... (CIPn WI * P carrying interest for CIPn)
2. For partner with interest type NPI (2) net working interest = 0%.
3. For partner with interest type CI (1,3) net working interest = 0%.
