Definition
If cost object analysis is not performed, but a company balances its ventures, it is necessary to post bank switches with venture information. To post the document with that venture, a substitute cost object is retrieved from that venture and used as posting cost object.
To maintain the substitute cost object,
- go to Joint Venture Accounting -> Master Data -> Joint Venture -> Change
- Enter Venture and Company Code.
- Click on Equity Group button.
- Put the cursor on the equity group the substitute cost object needs to be entered in.
- Click on Substitute Cost Object button.
