Definition
Value date is the date money is transfered to / from the bank account.
If you have selected the 'Posting using Value Date' option, and if the value date in the processing document exists, this value date will be entered in the bank switching posting.
For example
If the funding group A has paid for the expense funding group B incurred, the day that the money is transferred out of the bank account of funding group A will be the value date.
