Documentation
Definition
Two-way netting simplies bank switches by eliminating reverse switches such as (A->B, B->A).
For example
Funding group A needs to switch $100 to funding group B.
Funding group B needs to switch $50 to funding group A.
Two-way netting will simplify the switch to:
Funding group A switch $50 to funding group B.
Note
- This option supports audit trail.
- If this option combines with cost object analysis option, the system will net the switches based on funding groups and cost objects.
- If this option combines with posting using venture option, the system will net the switches based on ventures and cost objects.
