Definition

Two-way netting simplies bank switches by eliminating reverse switches such as (A->B, B->A).

For example

Funding group A needs to switch $100 to funding group B.
Funding group B needs to switch $50 to funding group A.

Two-way netting will simplify the switch to:
Funding group A switch $50 to funding group B.

Note

1. This option supports audit trail.
2. If this option combines with cost object analysis option, the system will net the switches based on funding groups and cost objects.
3. If this option combines with posting using venture option, the system will net the switches based on ventures and cost objects.
