Documentation
Definition
The billing format determines the assignment of SAPscript forms, i.e billing invoice and statement layouts in conjunction with the billing indicator.
If a JV company operates partner-based invoicing, then the billing format must be defined at the partner level. Whereas, if the JV company operates venture-based invoicing, a billing format must be defined for each venture.
A billing format must be associated with a single Billing Invoice form and zero, one or more Billing Statements (Cash Statement). In addition, expenditure report types can also be linked to a billing format. These are: Expenditure Detail Report (Operating Expense Statement); and, where applicable, Supplemental Detail.
In this way, a billing format is associated with a complete Billing package.
