Definition
The commission rates (and bonus rates) for media sales agents are not recorded directly in the contract requirements. The contracts only contain the commission key. The commission rates associated with this key are maintained and determined separately.
The commission key of the assigned contract requirement is transferred to the sales agent assignment in the order - it can be modified there.
Dependencies
The commission key cannot be transferred to the sales agent assignment if converting the sales quantity into the unit of measurement of the commission key is not possible for the quantity-dependent calculation base.
e.g. a commission key with a CMM unit of measurement cannot be assigned to a service billing dataset that is settled in units.
Use
You should maintain the commission key here that is to be used if no requirement can be assigned in the order.
Examples
If you assign a sales agent manually in the contract, the system uses this commission key for the business transaction.
Dependencies
Please note that when using a commission key with a quantity-dependent calculation type, commission records can only be created for item types where quantity conversion is possible for the unit of measurement of the commission key.
If you select a commission key with a unit of measurement in column milimeters, the system cannot determine commission records for service items.
