Documentation
Definition
The type of tax exemption distinguishes between the different tax-exempt business transactions.
Use
The type of tax exemption can be set manually in the order item.
If an appropriate access sequence is set up in pricing for the tax condition type, you can use the different types of tax exemption to post the business transactions with different tax codes. The advantage of this is that you can make a distinction between these business transactions in FI tax reporting.
Example
- Deliveries in "other non-member countries" in Europe
- Deliveries in tax-exempt domestic areas
- Deliveries for airlines (in-flight copies), if the customer gives the publisher a tax exemption from a tax office
