Definition

Specifies the annual salary used to determine the wage tax and compensatory allowance percentage for special payments.

Use

You can either manually or automatically specify the annual salary value, as follows:

• Manual
  You specify an annual salary for an employee if you do not want to use the value that is automatically calculated by the system. This applies in special cases.
• Automatic
  The system calculates and specifies the annual salary for employees. To automatically calculate and record the values, you use the Batch Input Session for Initializing Fiscal Data (0060) Infotype (RPIBBLN0) report.

The payroll program uses the annual salary value specified for further tax and allowance calculations.
