Definition

Reorganization of transaction data can be performed separately for different areas (settlement, billing, shipping). You can specify for each area how long the data is to be retained in the system.

• In shipping, the reorganization procedure deletes the bundling results - drop-offs, postal packs and containers.
  You should define the retention period for shipping data so that the shipping data is always reorganized before home delivery settlement data.
• In home delivery settlement, the reorganization procedure deletes the deliveries and settlement documents. A delivery cannot be deleted if the delivery quantities are required for billing (billing framework deliveries) and billing has not yet been performed for the order for this delivery. Deliveries can also not be deleted if bundling results still exist for them.
• Reorganization is not yet possible in billing.

You can schedule reorganization as a job to be run periodically, for example, once a week, in background processing. To do this, you must use report RJYREORG.
