Definition
Groups several JIT calls together in a specific sequence. The sequence does not have to correspond to the external sequence numbers.
Use
You can have the grouping information sent to you from your customer or you can assign it internally using actions. If you assign the grouping information internally, you can control an individual sequence in the production.
In addition, you can assign the grouping information in the progress confirmation, to assign entry units, for example. The system assigns the appropriate grouping index per components group.
In the rack process a specific grouping information typically corresponds to exactly one rack (rack number).
Dependencies
The system does not check the uniqueness of the grouping.
To assign the grouping infomration in the progress confirmation, choose Settings and enter a processing mode.
