Documentation
Definition
Specifies whether you can change the quantity of a call in the List of operations due to be shipped.
Example
A change can be necessary if you cannot deliver the required amount and you want to supply the call with partial quantities.
Use
Depending on the settings selected, the system proceeds as follows if you change the quantity in the list of operations due to be shipped:
- Quantity change not permitted
You can no longer make changes manually in the list of operations due for shipping. - Quantity change permitted
The system automatically transfers the quantity to the item of the summarized JIT call concerned. You can modify the call if you still want to deliver the remaining quantity.
- Quantity change permitted with partial quantity splitting
The system automatically transfers the quantity to the item of the summarized JIT call concerned and creates a new call item with the remaining quantity. You can deliver this item at a later date.
You can define the internal processing status of the remaining quantity using the parameter Processing Status for Split.
