Documentation
Definition
Specifies the four-figure key of a call control.
Use
You use call control to specify the sequence of actions and the internal processing statuses for a given business process. Call control is a net, consisting of the external status, actions and internal processing statuses. An external status change of a components group triggers an action which transfers the components group from the current internal processing status to a new one. You can, for example, assign other actions and processing statuses to the standard process as a repeat order.
You can define your own call control for each components group type. This allows you to control the calls separately up to components group level.
Procedure
Examples
The components groups of a call in your system are in internal processing status Call created. Your customer transmits a further call for these component groups with the external status production release. As a result, the system carries out the action released for production and thus triggers the printing of the component list. The internal processing status of the components groups is changed in component list printed.
Dependencies
- You assign actions and processing statuses to call control in Customizing under Define external status and Define internal processing status.
- You define the call control key in the basic data in the components group type.
