Definition

Specifies which type of goods movement the system should carry out with this material, if you trigger backflush with the corresponding action.

Use

In the field Material enter the material numbers of the call components, and select one of the following goods movements:

  • The repetitive manufacturing backflush

If you produce the call components yourself and a BOM exists in the system, you can post both the goods receipt of the call components and the goods issue of the assembled components (backflush). Here, all the functions of the repetitive manufacturing backflush are available, such as the separated backflush.

  • The stock transfer posting

For example, you can repost call components that you obtain from a sub-supplier, from the issuing storage location to the receiving storage location. The system calculates the storage locations according to the following logic:

    1. If a components group material exists for the components group, to which the call component is assigned, the system calculates the storage location from the production version of the components group material.
    2. If a components group material does not exist or if there is not a production version for a components group material, the system calculates the production storage location from the material master of the call components as the issuing storage location. For the receiving storage location, the system determines the dispatch storage location from the call components' scheduling agreement.
  • In addition you can make settings so that the system does not post goods movements or you can add your own goods movements using a customer-exit.

Dependencies

Depending on your call control you can trigger the backflush with the actions BFLU Execute backflush, BFLP Execute backflush in background and BFDL Createbackflsh and delivery.
