Definition
Specifies the category, in which the system divides the call components dependent of the variance analysis.
Use
The classes have the following meaning:
- Category 1 (red traffic light)
These call components are particularly critical as the JIT call quantities exceed the call quantities of the forecast delivery schedules. You should generate MRP forecast delivery schedules, in order to guarantee the availability of the components.
- Category B (yellow traffic light)
These call components are not balanced, as the JIT call quantities are clearly below the call quantiites of the forecast delivery schedules. In this case there is the danger of excess requirements. You can generate JIT delivery schedules on the basis of the JIT call quantities, to make these effective for planning
- Category C (green traffic light)
These call components are balanced, as the JIT call quantities correspond to the call quantities of the forecast delivery schedules.
