Definition
You can use this value to control when creation of a system contract is to be prevented as a result of subsequent contract renewal. It also defines whether assignments from other sales areas that count towards discount are admissible during contract determination.
Example
If a customer has a standard contract and places ads after the end of its validity period, creating a system contract will lead to a conflict, if the contract that has expired is renewed automatically or if a subsequent contract is created manually. System contract creation can be prevented for these instances of automatic renewal or general contract renewability (using manual contract creation). Value 0 has the same meaning as 3 here, 1 has the same meaning as 4, and 2 has the same meaning as 5.
Further notes
If the value 3, 4 or 5 is entered, the system also creates assignments for a system contract in this sales area for an order in a different sales area during contract determination. If the value 0, 1 or 2 is entered, these types of cross-sales area assignments to system contracts can only be generated using the "Edit -> Other Assignments that Count Towards Discount" function in contract dialog.
