Definition
The base date for determining the planned settlement date determines the date used to access the settlement calendar.
Use
The planned settlement date is determined as the next weekday in the settlement calendar with reference to the base date. The planned settlement date is always determined again if the settlement index is updated and this update is relevant to settlement.
Dependencies
The base date is defined for each purchasing organization .
If the possible values available do not match your requirements, you can use the SAP enhancement JHGV0002 (function exit EXIT_SAPLJHGV_002 to determine the planned settlement date.
Example
You use base date later date (actual billing /service date) together with the settlement calendar 'monthly on the first day of the month':
- Actual billing date = 11.03.1999
- Service date = 10.17.1999
- System date = 11.23.1999 (order billing)
The later date of a) and b) is 11.03.1999. The planned settlement date is therefore 12.01.1999.
