You can enter the year number for the 'second half' of a double issue manually in this field. The system cannot make an automatic entry in the field.
Example
The December and January issues of a monthly magazine are grouped together in a double issue. This issue is to be recorded as 'Copy 12/01 1998/1999'. This is entered in the number and year number fields as follows:
- Issue number: 12
- Issue number affix: 01
- Year number: 1998
- Year number affix: 1999
