Definition

The modification indicator in General Status Management is used to control whether a business transaction is allowed. It can have the following values:

1    Transaction allowed
2    Transaction allowed, warning message is issued
3    Transaction not allowed

A transaction can only be carried out, if at least one status explicitly allows the transaction. If a transaction is influenced by several statuses, the modification indicator with the highest value applies, i.e., a transaction cannot be carried out if an active status forbids the transaction.
