Definition

Indicator for the explosion of plant-specific bills of material beyond the plant boundary.

Use

If this indicator is set, when a plant-specific BOM is exploded for an REA article, REA attempts to analyze plant-specific BOMs for the article's components in other plants.

This operation is indicated by the @A8@ icon in the BOM display.

Dependencies

The explosion in other plants is dependent on the following settings:

Checks can be performed on BOM header- or item level depending on the Plant Changeover Header indicator.

If the BOM explosion is to take place across system boundaries, you must make sure that a non-identified recursive relationship does not occur.
