Definition
Indicator for classifying packaging with different physical properties.
The packaging types take weight-dependent fees into account in their assessment basis. Consequently, the packaging type "weight-dependent fee" can only be maintained if the recycling partner is subject to a weight-dependent fee.
Use
In relation to the PaTy WeightFee RePar indicator in the "General Control" view for the recycling partner, the packaging type can be maintained either for all recycling partners in the packaging or dependent on the article-to-packaging assignment. In the first case, the packaging type is not ready for input in the article-to-packaging assignment dialog.
Packaging types can influence price determination by means of a petty rule or a fraction formula.
Packaging types for weight-dependent fee can also be maintained in the packaging in relation to the recycling partner if they are defined in the recycling partner master data and recycling-partner dependent maintenance is allowed.
If the Packaging Type Differentiation indicator is set for the declaration or a petty rule is defined in the recycling partner, this field becomes a required entry field.
If the REA packaging class is a consumed packaging rather than a sales packaging, the above check is moved to the packaging dialog. If the packaging type is to be maintained recycling partner independently for only one of the assigned recycling partners, the field becomes a required entry field in the packaging.
