Definition
Indicator for the packaging level.
Use
Depending on the setting of the indicator PLevel MatTyp RPartn in the "General Control" view for the recycling partner, the packaging level is maintained for the packaging or for a fraction of the packaging. If the indicator "Packaging Level" is set in the group box "Differentiation of Qty Flow acc.to:", the packaging level is evaluated in the declaration.
Packing levels can influence pricing by means of fraction formulas or petty rules.
Packaging levels must first be defined in REA Customizing Packaging-> Packaging Levels).

Example
An integral packaging may comprise several packaging levels. The primary packaging surrounds the article content. The secondary packaging surrounds the primary packaging (outer packaging). The tertiary packaging is usually the transport packaging.
1st (primary) packaging level: perfume bottle
2nd (secondary) packaging level: folding box
3rd (tertiary) packaging level: transport packaging
