Definition

  • The @03@ icon shows that the component has not been created as packaging in REA and consequently cannot be assigned.
  • The @06@ icon shows that the component is not permitted as packaging in REA due to the data filter settings and consequently cannot be assigned.
  • The @6E@ icon shows that the component can be assigned as packaging.
  • The @3U@ icon shows that the component quantity of the component is less than or equal to 0 and consequently cannot be assigned as packaging in REA.
  • An additional icon shows that the component is assigned but does not match the component quantity or component unit in the BOM.

Use

A component can be selected or deselected using the @2X@ pushbutton. The @17@ pushbutton allows you to add the component quantity of an already assigned component to the existing component quantity.

Components with the @03@ icon can be directly created as REA packaging using the @0Y@ pushbutton. REA packaging can be displayed or changed using the @10@ and @0Z@ pushbuttons respectively.

The @01@ pushbutton allows you to transfer the selected components as packaging into REA and directly display them for processing, if required.

The @BV@ and @DB@ pushbuttons allow you to control the conversion of the component quantity when it is transferred from the bill of material (BOM).

The @HW@ Expand. pushbutton allows you to expand all assemblies.

The @03@ Expand. pushbutton allows you to expand all assemblies that contain components with @03@.

Dependencies

You can only select components that have been identified as packaging by the REA data filters and have been created as packaging in REA. If the validity period of the packaging assignment spans several versions of a BOM, the validity period of each component is automatically shown.

If a component is assigned but does not match the quantity or unit in the BOM, this can be corrected by a reselection plus assignment.
