Definition

Indicator for the use of packaging components for sales events. Movement data for sales events is extracted from the billing data and material documents, whereby the sales relevancy is determined using the indicator (sales event) for the material movement data filters.

Use

The indicator is used with the quantity flow explosion of packaging from billing documents and, where appropriate, material documents in the context of the periodic declaration. Only sales-relevant packaging components contribute to the prices of the sales condition records. The "Use for Sales" indicator is only evaluated if the global indicator Indicate Use of Packaging for Sales is set in general Customizing; otherwise, all packaging is automatically relevant for sales.
