Definition
Indicator that specifies whether recycling partner charges an item-dependent fee.
Use
For each complete packaging, an item-dependent fee is to be paid. This applies both for packaging with only one packaging level (such as a beverage can) and for an article that is packed with several packaging levels.
The measurement basis for calculating the item-dependent fee depends on the packaging type.
Example
A margarine container is licensed with DSD. It consists of a 500 ml cup and a lid. The margarine container is considered as a complete packaging. Therefore:
It is given packaging type single pack. Consequently, only an item-dependent fee is charged.
