Definition
The additive indicator specifies whether discounts are added or multiplied.
Use
Price list
If the indicator is not set:
1. Discount from item
First, all prices are reduced by the percentage discount on price list line items (if any).
2. Discount from header
Then all prices are reduced again by the percentage discount on the price list.
The indicator is set:
1. First the header discount percentage (discount on price list) is added to the price list item discount percentage.
2. Then all prices are reduced by the new price list item discount.
Condition Types
If the indicator is not set:
The discounts of all conditions of a combination are multiplied during the calculation.
If the indicator is set:
The discounts of all conditions of a combination are added before the calculation.
Example
Price list
Price: 100
Header discount: 20%
Item discount: 10%
If the indicator is not set:
1. Price 10% from 100 = 90
2. Price 20% from 90 = 72
If the indicator is set:
1. Addition of discounts 10% + 20% = 30%
2. Price 30% from 100 = 70
