Definition

Indicator for the explosion of the bill of material.

Use

If the indicator is set, when the system searches for changed documents, it explodes the bill of material in accordance with the REA data filters (Usage of Bills of Materials, Bill of Material Item Categories, Packaging Material Types, Article Material Types, Common Company Codes, Plants for Company Code) and also looks for changes in the BOM subtrees.

If the indicator is not set, the system only searches for changes to the BOM on the first level.

Dependencies

This functionality cannot be used in a distributed system landscape in which BOMs are stored on a system other than that on which the REA master data exists.
